COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The second week of the Paris Olympics is here and multiple gold medalists were crowned and a few world records were set.

We saw Simone Biles for the final time in Paris as she claimed silver in the floor exercise and was joined on the podium by her teammate Jordan Chiles who took bronze.

American discus thrower Valarie Allman won her second straight gold while Sweden’s Armand Duplantis electrified the crowd with a world record pole vault clearance. Elsewhere in track, Pickerington native McKenzie Long qualified for the women’s 200m final.

USA volleyball teams played some big knockout games with men’s beach pair Miles Partain and Andrew Benesh making the quarterfinals.
