COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — It’s the fourth-to-last day of the Paris Olympics but it could produce among the most memorable moments for Team USA.

Noah Lyles and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone headline a busy night of track & field while multiple USA teams hoping to guarantee themselves medals with semifinal wins. Elsewhere, we crown gold medalists in multiple other sports including canoe sprint, boxing, wrestling and more.

Here is what to watch on Thursday at the Paris Olympics:

Lyles, McLaughlin-Levrone go for gold

Two of the biggest track & field stars in the world will go for gold on Thursday at the Stade de France. 100m champion Noah Lyles will look to follow up that historic gold medal by claiming the fabled sprint double in the 200m final at 2:30 p.m. Lyles is aiming to become the first American man since Carl Lewis in 1984 to win the Olympic 100m and 200m at the same games.

After that, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone looks to defend her gold medal in the 400m hurdles against the Netherlands’ Femke Bol at 3:25 p.m. With a strong possibility of a new world record, this will be a must-watch race. Other track & field finals include the men’s 110m hurdles, women’s long jump and men’s javelin throw.

Three USA teams seek gold medal game spots

Team USA could guarantee themselves three medals Thursday in three different sports if they can secure semifinal wins. First at 10 a.m. will be women’s volleyball as they face a tough Brazil side in its bid to defend its gold medal from Tokyo. Next will be women’s water polo at 1:35 p.m. when they face Australia.

At 3 p.m., LeBron James and the men’s basketball team take on Nikola Jokic and Serbia for a spot in the gold medal game. It has been 20 years since the U.S. has lost in men’s basketball at the Olympics. The other semifinal is a must-watch too with Germany facing France at 11:30 a.m.
