DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) — Police say a man whose body was recovered from a retention pond during a water rescue operation in Dublin. 

First responders were dispatched to the 5000 block of Tuttle Crossing Boulevard around 7:40 p.m. Friday after a man reportedly jumped in a retention pond. 

Authorities say the man was in the water for approximately two hours before a dive team recovered his body from the pond. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Police are considering his death a suicide.
