NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WCMH)– Authorities have captured for an inmate who escaped from the SEPTA Correctional Facility Wednesday.

Police received a tip that Richard Paul Rush III was in a vacant house on Madison Street in Nelsonville. Police arrested him a short time later.

Rush was treated at the scene for minor injuries suffered during his escape.

Rush’s girlfriend, Samantha Milliken, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting a wanted fugitive. Police said she was with Rush at the time of his arrest.

The Nelsonville Police Department says he was originally charged with a third-degree felony for drug possession.
