DUBLIN, OH (WCMH) — Coming off Hole 18 after Wednesday’s pro-am at Muirfield Village, Peyton Manning signed autographs for dozens of fans – maybe more.

But eight children brought to the course courtesy of Nationwide Children’s Hospital already had the future NFL Hall of Famer’s signature, personalized on a Denver Broncos helmet.

“Great to have these kids out here,” said Manning, who was in Columbus on behalf of Nationwide, the tournament’s title sponsor.

Manning met with children throughout the day, as did Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus, the event’s host, took photos with the children and even played some “rock, paper, scissor” before treating them all to milkshakes.

“I’ve had fun,” said eight-year-old Joaquin. “It was better than Field Day.”
