COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus Police say the ramp from I-71 southbound to I-270 westbound on the city’s north side has reopened after a semi-truck hit a pedestrian.

The accident happened just before 2:15am Thursday morning.

Columbus Police had the ramp closed for several hours while they investigated, but it was reopened at about 6am.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

There is no information available at this time about what led up to the accident.
