LOS ANGELES (WCMH) — Police are chasing a suspected carjacker in Los Angeles.

According to NBC4 Los Angeles, the chase began shortly before 8AM, PST, when officers responded to a carjacking.

Several police officers are chasing the vehicle, which has been traveling at various speeds.

Officers have been trying to stop the vehicle with spike strips since about 9AM PST.
