GALLOWAY, OH (WCMH) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man killed by a train Friday night as Daniel Castillo-Fuente.

It happened around 7:10pm Friday night. The body of the 26-year-old was found near the Big Darby Creek railroad crossing, which is near Hubbard Road in Prairie Township. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Castillo-Fuente was walking westbound on the railroad tracks and was struck by a westbound Norfolk Southern freight train.

The incident remains under investigation.
