COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Ohio Department of Transportation is prepared to take on a night of potentially dangerous roads Saturday.

92 snow plow drivers will report around midnight. Rain is expected to turn to sleet and snow as temperatures take a cold turn.

ODOT will focus on plowing snow from all travel lanes and berms as well as salting ramps and bridges to prevent refreezing.

Crew sizes will adjust based on need throughout the night.

ODOT is asking all drivers to take caution on the road as the already wet roadways have the potential to form ice quickly and as always they’re asking drivers to give snow plowers room to work on the road.
