COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are looking for two suspects after an attempted robbery at a local CVS Pharmacy location.

It happened around 9:25am Saturday. Two unknown males entered the CVS store on East Broad Street and approached the pharmacy counter.

One man jumped over the counter and confronted the pharmacist. He implied he had a weapon and demanded pills. There was a physical struggle between the suspect and the pharmacist. The two fell to the floor.

The suspect then jumped back over the counter and fled the scene. He was not able to get any property. The second suspect fled the scene as well.

The pair was last seen running south from the rear of the store.

The pharmacist was not injured.

The first suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 16 and 20. He stands 5’8″ to 5’9″ tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue hoodie sweatshirt, dark sweat pants and dark tennis shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 16 and 20. He stands 5’10” tall and weighs around 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and blue pants.
