ROSS COUNTY, OH (WCMH) – The Chillicothe post of the Ohio State Highway patrol is investigating two different crashes that resulted in the deaths of two people Friday evening.
The first happened on Vigo Road, south of Londonderry shortly after 5pm. A driver was killed in a one-vehicle crash.
The second happened shortly after 6pm on U.S. 50 at Allen Road, just west of Londonderry.
That crash involved two vehicles. One person was pronounced dead.
There were other injuries, but patrol dispatchers did not have details about how serious they were.
The crashes happened within two miles of each other. Both roads were closed for a time, but have since reopened.
