CLEVELAND, OH (WCMH) — From security guards, to ushers, to janitors; all will receive a Cavaliers’ championship ring according to a report.
According to NBC Sports, citing Cleveland.com, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert will be giving the 1,000 plus rings to full and part-time employees in Quicken Loans Arena and the organization.
That means public-relation staffers, security guards and even ushers will be getting a ring, albeit not the full version the players, like Lebron James, receive.
The Cavs beat the Golden State Warriors in the final game of the series, 93-89, to overcome a 3 games to 1 deficit to win the NBA Championship.
