COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Ohio State defensive co-coordinator Greg Schiano was involved in a traffic accident Thursday morning while on his way to work at OSU. An Ohio State spokesperson confirms the accident.

Schiano struck a bicyclist along West Lane Avenue and Fred Taylor Drive on the OSU campus. The bicyclist was injured and taken to OSU Wexner Medical Center.
“Our concern is with the young man who was injured and doing everything we can to support him.” said OSU spokesman Chris Davey.
A police report from Columbus police was not made available Thursday night. The incident remains under investigation.
Schiano is in his first season on the Ohio State coaching staff. He previously served as the head at Rutgers and the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
