WESTERVILLE, OH (WCMH) – Columbus State’s Westerville Regional Learning Center was closed Wednesday after a body was found in a restroom.

According to Columbus State, the body of a male student was found around 5:45pm in one of the center’s restrooms.

Genoa Township police said the victim, believed to be in his early to mid 20s was found in the men’s restroom. Police have not released the man’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.

Police are still trying to determine the man’s cause of death, but say it appears to be a heroin overdose.
