MARTINS HERON, BRACKNELL (WCMH) – Muggles looking for the ultimate Harry Potter memorabilia are in luck… if they have about $620,000, that is.
The real-life Number 4 Privet Drive is for sale. Located about 40 miles west of London in the town of Martins Heron, Blacknell, the three-bedroom house was used in the first movie, but subsequent movies used a set for the Dursley’s house.
The residence has undergone a complete renovation, according to the online advertisement, so Potterheads may end up disappointed. The kitchen looks completely different and there are no photos of the cupboard under the stairs where Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon forced Harry to sleep.
