COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A young Buckeye fan got a chance to sit on a State Patrol motorcycle after a trooper noticed how fascinated he was by the motorcade.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol shared a note and picture sent by Russell Decker, who witnessed the interaction.
During the OSU vs. BGSU football game last Saturday, this little boy couldn’t take his eyes of off the motorcade that had arrived at the stadium. The Trooper asked the young boy if he’d like to sit on the motorcycle. He was thrilled! Then the Trooper asked the boy’s father if he’d like him to take a picture of them together, I’ve enclosed a pic that I took at the same time. It was a very positive interaction between the Trooper and this father and his son. I was moved by the Trooper’s sincerity and interest in the young boy’s fascination with the motorcycle. His professionalism in dealing with the boy and his father provided them a special memory of their day at The Shoe!
