SAN ANTONIO, TX (WCMH) –  When an angry customer started a scuffle with his manager, a Texas waiter pulled out his gun and fired.

“I fired one time, he didn’t let my manager go. I fired two more times, then he ran out the door,” the waiter, named Ray’mon told KSAT.

Ray’mon said the fight all started over a bit of confusion about drinks at the Little Red Barn restaurant, “He told me thats not my F’n drink. If you got my F’n drinks wrong I can just imagine how wrong my food going to be.”

Ray’mon does not have a concealed handgun license, and the restaurant has no gun policy.

“What if I didnt have that firearm on that day. What would of happened. I don’t think my manager could not of take on those two guys,” he told KSAT.

The Little Red Barn restaurant released a statement on the incident saying:

During the altercation, the employee, unaware to our knowledge that he had a firearm, pulled out a gun and fired three shots toward the ceiling.

We are grateful that no injuries occurred and it is important to note that our policy is no weapons allowed on our premises by employees.”

Ray’mon said he doesn’t regret his decision even if it did cost him his job. “My reason for coming here today is because I looked bad. I’m not a bad person. I’m a working man trying to take care of my family.”

Police continue to investigate the incident.
