PHILADELPHIA (WCMH) — Police in Philadelphia are searching for two suspects accused of beating a store clerk with brass knuckles during a robbery.
According to Philadelphia police, at about 7:30pm, July 23, the two suspects entered the store and asked to buy some water ice.
Police say when the clerk went behind the counter, one of the suspects followed him and struck him several times with brass knuckles, forcing him to the ground.
Both suspects then took money from the cash register before running from the store.
According to police, at one point the first suspect can be seen removing a gun from his waist and handing it to the other suspect.
Police continue to investigate.
