COLUMBUS (WCMH)–The Franklin County Grand Jury has indicted Connor Jeffries, 21, in connection with two murders that happened in April at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Tussing Road.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced Thursday that Jeffries has been indicted on seven counts: Two counts of aggravated murder with a firearm specification; four counts of murder with a firearm specification, and one count of tampering with evidence.
Jeffries and his girlfriend Mia Shamis, 19, allegedly drove to the Enterprise on April 5, 2016. Surveillance video allegedly shows Jeffries getting out of the vehicle, approaching the two victims in their car, opening fire, and fleeing the scene.
O’Brien said the victims are Jeffries’s former classmates at Pickerington Local Schools, 20-year-old Gary Francis and 21-year-old James Miller.

Shamis pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter on June 1, O’Brien said, and will testify against Jeffries during his trial. Jeffries will be arraigned Aug. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
