COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police are searching for a suspect after he allegedly attacked a hostess and robbed a local Roosters location.

A hostess was counting money in order to close her cash register at a Roosters on City Park Ave. on July 28 when the incident occurred.

The suspect got up from his seat and lunged at the her. He managed to get away with an unknown amount of cash.

He was last seen leaving the area on foot, headed eastbound on Reinhard Ave.

Now Columbus police are looking for any information that could lead to an arrest in the incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Robbery Unit at (614) 645-4665.
