COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A section of State Route 161 near Dublin has reopened several hours ahead of schedule.
The crash happened shortly before 2:30 this morning on West Dubllin Granville Road between Sawmill Place Boulevard and Federated Boulevard.
A woman on the scene told NBC4’s Olivia Fecteau that her son was driving with her husband, coming from a nearby McDonald’s. She said her son took his eyes off the road for a second , lost control and hit the pole.
An AEP worker originally said it could be lunch time before the pole is fixed and the road reopened. The road reopened shortly after 8am.Keep checking NBC4i.com for real-time updates on this story.
