COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Columbus police say that an early shooting in north Columbus has left one man injured.

Just after 2:30am, Columbus police responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot at the Screens at the Continent movie theater on Busch Boulevard. Upon arrival, police found one man with a gunshot wound to the lower body. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Police say the shooting may have been the result of a robbery gone wrong. They do not have a description of a suspect at this time.

The incident is currently under investigation.
