COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Campus-area residents should watch out for a robbery suspect with a gun, OSU police said Saturday evening.

Officials said a woman in her early 30s approached a victim in the Safe Auto Garage at 1585 Westpark Street. She said she had a gun before stealing the victim’s cellphone and fleeing north inside the garage.

The suspect is described as black, skinny woman last seen wearing black sweatpants and a gray t-shirt. She has a tattoo on her right forearm with unknown writing.

Police are at the scene investigating and have increased patrols on the campus’ south side.
