COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A north Columbus shopping center was damaged early Friday morning when a man got his car stuck inside of a building.
It happened around 3:30am on North High Street north of Morse Road.
According to police, a man turned into the parking lot, drove along a sidewalk and through a restaurant patio. He then hit a fence and a garbage can before crashing through the front door of a shop.
Damage can be seen on several walls inside the shop where the driver tried to turn the car around.
Police took the driver into custody.
