COLUMBUS (WCMH) – The second of two suspects wanted in a fatal shooting outside of an east Columbus night club over one month ago has been arrested.

Kyree Bell-Ravish is accused of being one of two people who shot and killed 39-year-old Dante Gamble on Feb. 11 outside of The Luxxe Lounge on Beechwood Road and East Livingston Avenue.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Beechwood Road and East Livingston Avenue in the Beechwood area at 5:21 a.m. on the report of a shooting, according to a police dispatcher. Upon arrival Gamble was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to Mount Carmel East in critical condition.

Gamble was reportedly leaving the parking lot when he was passed by two men from both directions. Police reports indicate that both men produced a gun and fired several shots at Gamble, who was pronounced dead at 6 a.m. after being taken to Mount Carmel East hospital.

The City Attorney’s Office filed a restraining order to shutter The Luxxe Lounge, an after-hours nightclub which has been subject to crime and illegal business practices. (NBC4)

Investigators confirmed Bell-Ravish’s identity through witness statements and video surveillance before arresting him Tuesday. A Franklin County Municipal judge issued him a $2 million bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 28.

Nicholas Wright, the other suspect wanted in Gamble’s murder, was arrested on March 5 and issued a $3 million bond the following day.

The after-hours nightclub was shut down five days after Gamble’s death. According to the Columbus City Attorney’s Office, the city secured a temporary restraining order to shutter The Luxxe Lounge, citing illegal after-hours sales, gun-related police runs, and operating without a liquor license.

Since Jan. 1, 2023, police have responded to 11 calls at the club, including two for shootings, one person with a gun and one fight.
