COLUMBUS (WCMH)–The Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment on Drakkar Dashawn Groce, 25, in connection to a May 2010 shooting at the intersection of Atcheson and Trevitt Streets in Columbus that left a young woman paralyzed.
Groce has been indicted for two counts of felonious assault (F2), both with firearm specifications.

On the night of the shooting, Alexandria Reese and her friend were driving west bound on Atcheson Street, when the two women were caught in gunfire that broke out in the neighborhood.READ MORE: Six years later, arrest made for shooting that left woman paralyzed
Groce, who was 19 at the time, was one of the men involved in the exchange of gunfire. Reese, who was 25 years old at the time, was shot in her neck and was left permanently paralyzed as a result of being struck.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien commended the Columbus Police Department for their ongoing investigation of this case.
Arraignment for Groce is set for Wednesday, June 8.What others are clicking on:
