ANCHORAGE (KTUU) Customers at a Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Anchorage, Alasaka witnessed the miracle of birth Tuesday as a mother moose gave birth in the store’s parking lot.

One witness said she was on the way to shop at Target and thought the road was blocked because of a traffic accident. Once she realized there was a moose and calf in the roadway, she decided to join the crowds gathered the watch the unique event.

Bystanders thought the moose might give birth to a second calf, but she did not.
