LOUISVILLE, KY (WFLA) – An adorable 7-year-old Kentucky girl who is dealing with a very serious disease has become an internet celebrity after her karaoke videos went viral.

Audrey Nethery is using her newfound fame to raise awareness about her disease.

You can’t help but smile when watching the little blonde-haired girl belt out tunes while swinging her tiny hips.

“I was inspired by Taylor Swift. Because she has all the passion and spirit and I just thought I would start singing to maybe put a little passion and spirit in me so I could try and fight off my disease.”

The cheerful little girl even got to meet Taylor Swift.

With more than a million followers on Facebook, little Audrey is spreading awareness about the disease she suffers from, Diamond-Blackfan Anemia, which is a disorder of the bone marrow.

“It doesn’t make as much blood cells as most people do. And it makes me a little bit short but that doesn’t stop me from moving and acting.”

People love Audrey’s singing and dancing. She’s performed at the International Zumba Convention. She’s been on Rachel Ray’s show twice and Bob Marley’s son is a fan of hers and has shared her video.

Through it all, Audrey keeps a mature and positive attitude.

“You just have to take a breath and say I can do this and then you go out there and then you just do it.”Follow Audrey on Facebook. This story was compiled using information from CNN.WAVE TV.What others are clicking on:
