COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The total solar eclipse is drawing near. Alyssa Cassabaum-Smith, a scientist at COSI, guided Gabrielle Phifer through a COSI Connect Kit which is being offered to children and adults.
It includes solar glasses, an activity book, fun science experiments, a free ticket to COSI and more. You can pick one up at your local Columbus Metropolitan Library branch.
If you’re still looking for somewhere to watch the eclipse, let COSI be your host. There will be an epic experience happening from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. with hands on activities, a live video stream of the eclipse in totality and so much more.
In the video player above, watch Alyssa and Gabrielle make artwork to learn what happens during a solar eclipse.
