COLUMBUS (WCMH)– A new study from the Ohio State University and the National Institute of Health says you may want to skip that extra cup of coffee if you and your partner are trying to have a baby.

The study from the Ohio State University and the National Institute of Health finds a woman may be more likely to have a miscarriage if she and her partner drank more than two caffeinated beverages each day during the weeks leading up to conception.

The study included 501 couples from Michigan and Texas, but according to researchers, doesn’t prove cause and effect. The study mainly suggests a possible way couples could increase their chances of a successful pregnancy.

The study also showed women who took a daily multivitamin before conception and during early pregnancy were less likely to have a miscarriage.What others are clicking on:
