COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus police are investigating an alleged robbery at the Easton Town Center on Tuesday.
According to police records a woman was robbed shortly after 8:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police that there were three suspects and one, who was wearing a black sweatshirt and jeans, used a stun gun on the victim.
The three suspects then reportedly left the area in a black Camaro.
It’s not known what the alleged robbers got away with, but witnesses say the suspect took the woman’s cell phone.

Erica Copeland said she was dropping her son off at Easton yesterday evening when she saw the fight.
“It looked like a couple was fighting, but we realized something wasn’t right,” she said. He shoved her and she like jumped back up, went back after him. Next thing I know he got punched in the face and I seen this little bright light and thought “oh my gosh, he’s tasing her.”
Copeland said the woman fought the man and ended up getting her purse back.
Gary Cameron with the Columbus Division of Police said he does not recommend that victims fight back.
“…and I think this is further evidence of the fact that we should never chase after someone who’s attacked us and robbed us of something. I think that all you’re doing at that point is putting yourself at greater danger,” said Cameron. What others are clicking on:
