HILLIARD, Ohio (WCMH) – A health-centric café featuring smoothies and breakfast wraps is preparing to open in Hilliard. 

Alchemy Café will open in The Well, located at Scioto Darby and Alton Darby Creek roads, this fall, according to a Facebook post by Hilliard’s recreation and parks department. The Well is a recreation and wellness center that is slated to launch alongside the eatery.

Alchemy Brands is a series of wellness-inspired food concepts in central Ohio. The company debuted with Alchemy Café on Parsons Avenue in 2014, then opened another location with an expanded menu called Alchemy Kitchen in Grandview Heights in 2018.

The new eatery will offer many of the company’s “beloved staples,” including smoothies and breakfast wraps, according to the Facebook post. The restaurant’s existing locations also serve items such as pancakes, salads, wraps, and “power bowls” featuring grains and vegetables. 

“Look forward to an expanded beverage program, with functional sodas, tonics, and a refreshed espresso menu, as well as new food items that embrace Alchemy’s Midwest roots in new ways,” the department’s post reads.

One of the brand’s biggest goals is to make healthy food more accessible, according to its website. The business claims it sources its ingredients from local farms “as much as possible.” Alongside its restaurants, the brand additionally offers a meal prep service, catering and hosted wellness events. 

The Well, the 110,000-square-foot facility that housing the eatery, will also feature a gymnasium, natatorium, fitness areas and a health clinic.
