The Ohio State University Emergency Management office has issued a public safety notice after a female student was followed and groped by an unknown man.

According to OSU Emergency Management, a female student reported being approached by an unknown man around 9pm on Monday in the area of 11th Avenue and Neil Avenue. The man began following the woman while making unwanted verbal advances. The man eventually began fondling the student.

OSU says a passerby intervened and the man left the area. Investigators do not have detailed information about the suspect at this time.
