COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is dead after the report of a shooting in Columbus, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to Parsons Avenue near East Whittier Street around 6:32pm.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to dispatchers with Columbus Police.

No other information was immediately available.
