COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – For a long time, Black women have not been equitably included in clinical research. Well, not anymore.

We are the sole focus of the American Cancer Society’s new study called Voices of Black Women. This initiative aims to understand why Black women are disproportionately affected by cancer and other health conditions.

Naomi Pearce is participating in the study. She joined Gabrielle Phifer in the studio to encourage women in Ohio to join too.
