'America's Got Talent': Dee Dee Simon reacts to Gold Buzzer, 3 semifinal spots remain

(NBC) — Tuesday is the final edition of the live quarterfinals on “America’s Got Talent.”

One Gold Buzzer left to send someone to the finals in two weeks and three spots left in next week’s semifinals.

The acts who moved on from last week’s round shared how they feel after learning they will be performing again.

Being a nurse at a prison with the nation’s largest death row population may not unnerve Dee Dee Simon but singing live last week on “AGT” did.

“When it came time for me to get ready for the stage, I said, what’s my first line?” said Simon. “I was shook!”

But not so shook that she couldn’t still blow everyone away and earn Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer.

“When she sings, that tone, I get goosebumps and I don’t know, it’s just yummy,” said Klum. “So, for me, she has it.”

And now, this Simon has a spot in the finale.

“Just getting on the show is great, but that buzzer brings a whole new type of people looking at you,” said Simon. “And I wanted it!”

“AGT” fans were also looking at a teenage singer from Alabama and voted him into next week’s semifinals.

“If I was up there another second, I would have fallen out,” said Reid Wilson. “It was so stressful.”

Even more so for a comedian from Africa. Learnmore Jonasi was the last semi-finalist picked.

“I left all the energy on stage,” said Jonasi. “I just gave the energy and it’s amazing, in a theater like that, it just felt like I was getting back energy from the audience too.”

A dentist by day and aerialist by night Kelsey Jane also soaked a moment that has her bound for the semis.

“It’s gone in a blink of an eye, and I can’t believe it’s already happened,” said Jane. “And I feel like it’s a Cinderella story I know what I’ll be dreaming about.”

The possibility of winning “AGT”.
