COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — This weekend, NBC4 viewers can watch Ohioan Dave Chappelle host Saturday Night Live.
Chappelle’s last three appearances on the show were immediately following the November elections in 2022, 2020 and 2016.

NBC announced Chappelle will be the first host of 2025 in the Jan. 18 show, his fourth appearance on the sketch comedy series. The network noted in a news release that the Yellow Springs resident’s latest special, “Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer,” is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.
Joining Chappelle as musical guest will be rapper GloRilla. The multi-platinum-selling artist received two Grammy nominations for her hit single “Yeah Glo!”
Also announced for the month is the return of Timothée Chalamet on Jan. 25. Chalamet will host and serve as musical guest. The actor received SAG, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award nominations for his performance as Bob Dylan in “A Complete Unknown.”
After a brief hiatus, “SNL” will return in mid-February marking its 50th anniversary with a “celebratory weekend,” including a live primetime broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 16, “SNL50: The Anniversary Special.”
