COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — “Inside Edition” host Deborah Norville is saying goodbye to the show after 30 years.
The syndicated news program, which airs on NBC4, has announced Norville’s last broadcast will be on Wednesday, May 21. According to promotional materials, the episode will have special content highlighting Norville’s past three decades in the presenter’s chair, giving viewers a look back at her long career.
“After 30 incredible years on ‘Inside Edition,’ I’ll be signing off,” Norville said in a message to viewers. “It has been an honor to be on this station and to be welcomed into your homes for all these years, and I hope you’ll join me for my final episode.”
In a previous segment from the show, Norville reflected on her time at “Inside Edition” while going through mementos and souvenirs she collected in her office, like a St. Louis Cardinals mug from when she threw the first pitch at a game. Additionally, clips from major news stories are included, such as the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, the death of Princess Diana and the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown era.
“While I am moving on, ‘Inside Edition’ will still be here with the stories you love and the reports that impact your life,” added Norville in her message. “I am so grateful to have shared. This amazing journey with you.”
