Gift of Music school instrument drive

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — NBC4 is teaming up with the Columbus Music Commission by participating in the 6th annual Gift of Music student instrument drive, from Aug. 24 until Sept. 1. 

This drive will place musical instruments and accessories into the hands of local students. People can donate an instrument collecting dust in a garage or attic and give the gift of music. There are 12 conveniently located drop-off centers. Information on locations and collection hours can be found at: giftofmusic.info.

The Gift of Music is a Music Columbus initiative that collects gently used musical instruments and equipment for local City and Charter school students in Central Ohio. This campaign ensures students’ access to music education and early childhood development.
