COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Several NBC4 anchors were voted “Best of Columbus” by Columbus Monthly in a recent readers’ poll.
NBC4 anchors ranked No. 1 in all three local television categories in the magazine’s current issue.
Best Female TV Anchor
• Colleen Marshall
• Monica Day
Best Male TV Anchor
• Matt Barnes
Best Weather Person
• Dave Mazza
• Ben Gelber
Colleen Marshall won top honors in the Best Female TV Anchor and NBC4’s Monica Day was also recognized in the same category.
NBC4’s Matt Barnes won Best Male TV Anchor scoring by a large margin over the next closest male anchor.
Storm Team 4 Chief Meteorologist Dave Mazza was also recognized as Best Weatherperson claiming the No. 1 slot of local meteorologists. Mazza was not the only Storm Team 4 Meteorologist recognized in this category; Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Ben Gelber was also ranked second in the Best Weatherperson category.
