COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — NBC4 is proud to partner with the Columbus City Council, Keep Columbus Beautiful, for the fourth Annual Cleaner Columbus Citywide cleanup initiative aimed at enhancing the beauty and sustainability of central Ohio.

Cleaner Columbus will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, bringing together volunteers, local organizations, and community leaders to make a lasting impact on the city’s neighborhoods.

Council Member Emmanuel Remy, community leaders, and NBC4 will lead the efforts during the event, picking up area litter and showcasing the positive impact of Cleaner Columbus’s efforts. Updates, volunteer registration, and cleanup locations can be found at CleanerColumbus.org.

This partnership highlights NBC4’s ongoing commitment to community service and environmental stewardship by amplifying Cleaner Columbus’ mission to remove litter, promote recycling, and encourage sustainable practices throughout central Ohio. Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Joe Speir will emcee the event.

Residents, businesses, and organizations are invited to participate in the cleanup efforts by volunteering at designated locations throughout Columbus. Supplies, including gloves, trash bags, and safety gear, will be provided to all registered participants.
