COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — NBC4 anchor Colleen Marshall was honored by the University of Akron’s Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics.
She was presented with an honorary certificate in Applied Politics for her years of political reporting. Bliss is a bipartisan teaching institute that recognizes people who promote political education and the democratic process.
“We are sharing the stories of life, of people who are sometimes in heartbreaking situations, who are sometimes in uplifting situations, but in the end, it brings us together as a community, especially local news,” said Marshall at the event.
