COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — In anticipation of the Ohio Black Expo’s return on Memorial Day Weekend, new details about the event were released in a news conference.

President and CEO Sherri Hamilton and event founder Rhonda D. Robinson made some important announcements at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Ground x Grind, 1106-1108 E. Main St. in Columbus. Event partners also attended and collaborating organizations were on hand for a meet and greet after the updates were shared.

The Ohio Black Expo Riverfront Culture Fest honors African American culture in business, health, and family. A statewide non-profit organization, Ohio Black Expo focuses on improving “the lives, success, and well-being of communities in Ohio.” The 2025 event marks more than 30 years of the celebration.
