COLUMBUS (WCMH) –Columbus police say John Monroe Jr., 48, was driving on Interstate 270 westbound ramp toward I-71 southbound on the north side when he lost control and flipped his pickup truck several times.
Police said Monroe was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the truck.
Monroe was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash happened at about 2am Saturday, and the ramp was closed for investigation for approximately four hours.
Police do not know what caused Monroe to lose control of his vehicle.What others are clicking on:
