One person was taken into custody around 8:30 a.m. Friday. Police did not release any details about the arrest.

A woman who identified herself as the suspect’s mother pleaded with Christians everywhere to pray that this situation ends peacefully. She said, “Pray for him that he will give himself up before he gets hurt or the police get hurt.”
Several streets in the area are closed and apartments surrounding the suspect have been evacuated.
