COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A 16-year-old Grove City boy died in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning.

It happened on I-270 southbound near the Georgesville Road exit, around 10:26 a.m.

Police say the driver of a 2004 GMC Denali failed to control her vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a pole. The woman’s son, Noah Kingsbury, was transported to Doctors West Hospital in life-threatening condition and died. A second passenger, the woman’s 10-year-old daughter, was taken to Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
