NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -Four people were shot Monday afternoon at the MTA bus station in downtown Nashville, just blocks from the Tennessee State Capitol.
It happened inside Music City Central at Fifth and Charlotte avenues near the escalator around 3:40 p.m.
Metro-Nashville police said one of the victims is an 18-year-old in critical condition at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The other three victims, also transported to Vanderbilt’s hospital, received minor injuries. None of their names have been released.
One of the suspects reportedly ran away and dropped a gun, which has since been retrieved by police.
Two people of interest are in custody, according to Kristin Mumford, the Public Information Officer for Metro police. No charges have been filed at this time.What others are clicking on:
