SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – The San Francisco 49ers have cut tight end Bruce Miller from the team after he got into an altercation in San Francisco on Monday morning. It happened around 2:45 a.m.
Police say Miller attempted to check into the Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel on Sunday however all the rooms were taken.
Miller tried to enter a room that wasn’t his and was taken by an elderly couple. The couple’s 29-year-old son told Miller that he was in the wrong room and the football player attacked the man.
The 70-year-old father came to help his son, but Miller punched him in the face. Both the son and father were sent to a hospital for their injuries.
Miller was found across the street at a different hotel and was arrested for charges of aggravated assault, elder abuse, threats, and battery. He was intoxicated.
He has been booked into San Francisco County Jail.What others are clicking on:
