FRANCISCO, Ind. (WFIE) An Indiana woman will turn 99 years old on Sunday and her family and friends want to do something special.
Most of Gwen Beasley’s days consists of lunch with friends, beating them at a game of dominoes, and volunteering for Gibson General Hospital. Lately, her days have been full of birthday cards.
A family friend suggested the idea last year. They wanted to get Gwen 98 birthday cards, but they were six cards short.
This year, they are aiming for 99.
