LUBBOCK, Texas (WCMH)–A stowaway on a flight from Memphis to Texas turned out to be a FedEx worker who took a nap while loading the plane.

KCBD reports that the man woke up mid-flight and knocked on the cabin door. The pilot didn’t open it for safety reasons, and notified the airport and air traffic control that there was a stowaway on the plane.

The crew reportedly figured out he was a FedEx employee, and told him to get into the jump seat and buckle up, as they were already close to landing

City officials told KCBD that Lubbock airport police and operations staff responded to the plane when it landed, and Lubbock police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Transportation Security Administration were notified as well.What others are clicking on:
